From Glasgow we drove to Loch Lomond to spend the second night of our roadtrip. On the way to our hotel we stopped off at Loch Lomond Shores which is a leisure/shopping complex on the edge of the Loch. We decided to stop off here for lunch and visited the Willow Tea Rooms for the second time that day. The afternoon tea was amazing and came with sandwiches, scones and a choice of cake from their display that day. Highly recommended!
We stayed at the Lodge on Loch Lomond in Luss which is located directly on the loch edge, with amazing views from our bedroom. For tea that night we ate at The Village Rest in Luss which was a five minute walk from our hotel – food was great and service was friendly and it’s a great choice if you are eating out in the village.
Loch Lomond and Luss was one of my favourite stops on our whole roadtrip and I would love to go back again soon.
We on our way to the next hotel we also stopped off at The Falls of Falloch which was beautiful and well worth the time spent.
